A very interesting day at Yale Park in Cougar
I was about to get started blasting moles in a one acre park on Yale Lake when two Division of Fish and Wildlife officers arrived at the park and boat ramp. I had already alerted the Sheriff's office that I would be creating noise for a couple of hours. I decided that I had better let the DFW guys know what I was up to. It turned out to very interesting conversation. They liked what I was doing, and commented that it was the only legal way, in the state of Washington to get rid of the buggers. I did a demo for them and then they decided to go check on the boaters at the ramp, poor guys!! They were more concerned about writing tickets for the unprepared boaters than me. I had no problems with that!!!!
I had a very successful session of dispatching moles and got to meet a couple of nice officers.
It is not often you run into the DFW and they like what you are doing.
