KREM 2 News in Spokane reports that Spokane City Council Member Bob Apple says that "the Rodenator Company used Spokane for publicity". I wonder if Bob is aware that the City of Spokane purchased the equipment in 2004 and just started to use it in 2009. How is it that we here at Rodenator used the City of Spokane for some free PR? The fact is that the City of Spokane purchased the Rodenator in 2004 to take care of a burrowing pest problem and did not use it until 2009. We did not have prior contact with the city prior to the news stories. I think Councilman Apple is looking for a scapegoat. I think the mere fact is that Mr. Apple did not like the publicity that the city was getting and is trying to shift any focus from the city to Rodenator.
KREM could have done a little bit better job in my opinion of getting the real story.
