Is the Rodenator an Explosive Device?
The Rodenator is not considered an explosive. This is supported by our product being registered with the EPA for pest control and with the current laws as provided by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF).
Under current Federal Regulations published by the ATF in the U.S. Federal Register - Commerce in Explosives; List of Explosive Materials (2005R-14P), Liquefied Propane Gas (LPG) and/or Compressed Oxygen (O2), either in separate or combined forms are not listed as explosives, pursuant to 18 U.S.C. 841, et. seq.
The process of using Propane and Oxygen to control burrowing pest animals is not restricted by the United States Federal Government.
