Thanks to everyone at Rodenator/Meyers Industries...
I have a project to do tomorrow... 214 holes. I'm very excited to get the Rodenator 2 back in the ground where it belongs! A special Thank You to Ed for me. He did a great job of explaining all the fixes he did to the unit. Anyway, much thanks to you and everyone at Rodenator/Meyers Industries for all your wonderful support and timely turnaround. I can't live without you!

I've killed more gophers in two hours than in the last six months
I ordered the R1 at the Ag show and had it on Friday of the same week. It works great. I've killed more gophers in two hours than in the last six months. I am interested in the cart and plan to order it soon. Thanks again, great product!

Thanks for building such a strong and resilient product...
OK... This has got to be on your top 10 list of stupid things. BUT it does prove the durability of a Rodenator. I was out popping gophers this morning in an alfalfa field that had just been cut and bailed. When it got to be noon, I packed up my stuff to go get something to eat. I was hot and thirsty and hungry. Have you ever been popping gophers in 110 degree heat? Well, I do everyday. I know you feel for me. Anyway, I was way back up in the field and had to drive out. When I was almost out, I hit this big obscured, deep gopher tunnel. My Explorer just went WHAM down and up in the front and then WHAM down and up in the back. I did not think much of it except that it was pretty extreme.
Well, I pulled out of the field and up onto the paved road and drove a half mile to a Subway to eat. When I got out of my Explorer at the Subway my Rodenator was laying on the ground! HOLY CRAP! I had drug it the half mile to the Subway! Apparently, when I hit that tunnel it was so bad it knocked my Rodenator out of the cradle that holds it. I always attach a bungee cord tightly to it to hold it on and keep the hoses in place. Never occurred to me to check it. I was freaked out!
I got it and put it back in the cradle and checked it out. Amazingly, it was still in one piece. The only obvious damage was to the battery cover. The label was gone and the screws were ground down to nothing. Other than that the black nozzle tube and tip were scrapped up pretty bad. I did a short little test fire and it still worked! I was totally amazed about that. At that point, I figured there wasn't much I could do about it. I could not call you guys because your phone number on the label was gone. I went ahead and ate and then went back popping more gophers until my oxygen tank was empty. Figure I did 48 holes today. This particular area in this field is like a mine field. It is so bad.
Anyway, other than to tell you my story, I need to know what I can do to get the battery cover off when I need to change the batteries. You can see by the one photo that they are pretty well gone. I am open to suggestions. Hopefully, I have a while before that has to occur. But I figure I better plan for it now. Thanks for building such a strong and resilient product.

I Now Have Zero Gophers...
I now have 0, that is Zero Gophers on my total of 20 acres, 15 acres of vineyards. I am having a little squirrel incursion... blowing them up as their holes appear. As far as I am concerned, the Rodenator has paid for itself the first year.

I Am Having A "Blast" With My Rodenator...
Ed,
I wanted to let you know how it is going. I am having a "blast" with my Rodenator. The 15 acre vineyard is under control. I make a sweep of the ranch in the AM, hitting the troubled spots. When I see a fresh mound... look out gophers.
I used to pay a worker $100 a day to trap gophers... they always seemed to come back. It doesn't take long for the Rodenator to pay for itself... less than one season in my case.
Great product, so clearly American ingenuity at work! Use me as a reference if you wish. I love my Rodenator... my gophers, or what's left of them don't!!!

Large Ground Squirrel Population On the Golf Course...
We purchased the Rodenator a few months back due to our large Ground Squirrel population on the golf course. The Ground Squirrels are very disruptive to the turf. We have been very successful in reducing our population. The unit is very mobile and easy to use. We will continue to use the Rodenator as part of our Ground Squirrel reduction program.

Pocket gophers have destroyed this park costing hundreds...
I would like to thank you for solving a major problem. I work at a 182-acre park in Las Vegas. For over 20 years pocket gophers have destroyed this park costing hundreds of thousands of dollars to taxpayers. The gophers would never take a break, always chewing wires, killing our plants, trees and turf and creating trip hazards. The gopher problem was so bad in a middle of a baseball games they would pop out into the infield. At one point we had hire a part-time employee, assigned to trapping gophers with conventional traps. We could not use poison due to secondary poisoning, and conventional traps had to be set early in the morning and removed before we went home. There was always a fear of a child getting his finger or hand caught in a trap. With the Rodenator there is no fear of secondary poisoning or an injury due to a trap.
Thanks for the great product.
